This Solbuch is an interesting example of the dire state of the German army towards the end of the war. This soldier was only 18 when this replacement Soldbuch certificate was issued and the certificate itself was printed on the front of a military postcard. It seems that his original Soldbuch was later found and then this certificate was tucked in the front cover.
